The world’s fastest computer was released recently in Tokyo，Japan，computer manufacturer Fujitsu Ltd said last week it had launched sales of world’s fastest supercomputer．
The VPP 5000 Supercomputer has a peak performance of 9．6 Giga flops (floating-point operations per second)per processing element，outperforming any other supercomputer，the film said．Fujitsu said it used a fine manufacturing process to incorporate 33 million transistors on a single integrated chip．
The film plans to start delivery in December，with monthly rent starting at 4．4 million yen($37，000)．
“Higher processing performance will always be in demand for running applications that can help solve global-level problems and develop leading edge technologies,”the firm said．
