You'd have to be really stupid to ask for a ride from the guy you just robbed! When a man found his front door smashed open, he went looking for the culprit1. Sure enough2, the man spotted the burglar—pushing a wheelbarrow3 with his stolen stuff in it! Pulling up beside the thief in his car, the man started to confront him. But before he could, the bad guy asked for a ride. The man called police. They were happy to give this thief a lift—right to jail!
向你刚抢过的人要求搭便车,你真是蠢到了家!当一名男子发现自家前门被砸开后,他四处寻找那个作案犯。结果还真地发现了那个盗贼——正推着一辆装满偷来物品的独轮手推车!这名男子将车停在盗贼身旁,准备上前拦住他。可是还没等他行动,这个坏蛋就要求搭乘便车。这名男子报了警。他和警察很乐意让这个盗贼搭了一次便车——直接去了监狱!

What's the most logical hiding place if you're robbing a restaurant? One thief thought it would be the oven! After the robber broke into the eatery4, the alarms went off and police surrounded the building. Desperately, the thief squeezed into the oven while police searched the place. Officers eventually found him and arrested him on the spot5. This bungling6 bad guy was really bent out of shape7!

One business owner thought he was about to be robbed—until the thief's “gun” started dripping water. He was being robbed with a water pistol8! “The owner realized he was in no danger, except  getting wet,” detective Raymond Cote says. After the businessman refused to hand over any cash, the thief ran away.
