An unforgetable trip to Mount Tai|难忘的泰山之旅

[关于人物的英语作文]

About two months ago, I went to Shandong with my friends in holidays. Mount Tai made a deep impression on me. Because it was the first time that I had been so close to the radiant1 sunshine and so touched by true friendship.
Though it was raining and I wasn't feeling well, I visited Mount Tai, which was something I had been looking forward to for a long time. I like mountains, because I can understand the rise and fall of a nation, the happiness and the sadness of life by appreciating the sceneries of hills and waters.
As the cable car2 carried us to the top of the mountain, we were very excited that we could “fly” over such a great mountain. I looked out of the window. What a great sight! The mountain and the sky seemed to merge3 into one just a few meters in front of my eyes.
Once off the cable car, we had to climb up to the summit on foot. It was so cold and wet. I felt a bit dizzy4 and had a serious stomachache. I pretended to be full of vigor5, but I was in no mood for the joys of climbing the mountain. Some parts of the mountain were so steep6 that we could barely pass. “Bad luck!” I said to myself. I was tired out and felt like vomiting7. I held my breath and tried not to make any noise because I didn't want to spoil others' pleasure8. My legs started to tremble, cold sweat came on my forehead. My face must have looked as pale as a sheet. “Don't vomit and cry,” I prayed in my heart. Finally, I couldn't bear the pain and began to vomit. All my friends gathered around me, some supporting me on the side of the stairs, some taking off their coats and putting them on me. Water, medicine, food, and even a CD player appeared one after another in front of my eyes. My friends did all they could to lessen9 my pain. I was really moved: true friendship provided me with rich energy. With the help and encouragement from my friends, I reached the top in the end.
Standing on the peak10 of Mount Tai, looking far into the distance, I suddenly felt that all the things there were full of wonders. Mountains connected with one another and mists11 floated in the air. I enjoyed the grand12 beauty all around. At that moment, I forgot all the suffering, and everything seemed simple and great. This was  brought not only by the charm of nature but also by the strength of the friendship. I couldn't help shouting aloud and called out the names of the friends who helped me when I was in trouble. I called in my heart for truth love among people and super beauty.
I often take out my photos taken on Mount Tai to relive the trip or share the joy with friends。
