One day, a rich father took his young son on a trip to the country. He wanted to show him the poverty in the world. They spent a day and a night at the farm of a very poor family.
　　When they got back from their trip, the father asked his son,“How was the trip?”
        “Very good, Dad!”
      “Did you see how the lives of the poor can be?” the father asked.
        “Yeah!”
        “And what did you learn?”
        After thinking for a  moment, the son answered. “I saw that we have a dog at home, and they have four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of the garden, and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lamps in the garden, and they have the stars. Our patio reaches to the front yard, they have a whole horizon.”
        When the little boy was finished, his father was speechless. His son added, “Thanks, Dad, for showing how poor we are!”
        Isn't it true that it all depends on the way you look at things! If you have: love, friends, family, health, good humor and a positive attitude toward life, you've got everything! You can't buy any of these things. You can have all the material possessions you can imagine, provisions for the future, etc., but if you are poor of spirit, you have nothing!

　　一天，一个富爸爸带着他年幼的儿子到乡下旅行，想让他见识一下世上的贫穷。他们在一个极其穷困的农家农场呆了一天一夜。
　　旅行归来，富爸爸问儿子：“旅行感觉如何？”
　　“棒极了，爸爸！”
“你看到穷人的日子是如何过的吗？”
　　“是的。”
　　“那么，你有何收获？”
　　思索片刻，儿子答道：“我发现我们家养了一条狗，他们养了四条；我们家游泳池只到花园的中央，他们家有一条看不到尽头的小河； 我们在花园里牵线引电，他们有星星照明；我们的天井延伸到前院，他们拥有整个地平线。”
　　小男孩说完此话，做父亲的无话可说。儿子还加了一句：“谢谢你，爸爸！是你让我了解到我们是多么贫穷！”
　　看问题的角度不一样，结果也大相径庭，难道不是吗？如果你拥有爱情、朋友、家庭、健康、好心情以及对生活的乐观态度，你就拥有了一切！因为这些东西是你用金钱买不到的！你可以拥有你能想象到的所有物质财富，日后养老之所需等，但是，如果你精神上一贫如洗，你就一无所有！
