American millionaire Steve Fossett has become the first solo balloonist to circle the globe nonstop  after 14 days aloft on July 2. It has been his sixth attempt in balloon circling. On June 30, Fossett broke his own record in the longest distance of solo balloon travel. His other two world records include solo navigation distance and solo aviation distance.
