I live in Xi’an, China. It’s at the temperate zone, so it has four seasons here one year: spring, summer, fall and winter. Which season is my favorite?
I think about it, I like summer best. Summer is hot, the sun looks like a giant ball of fire. The dog is so hot that it had put out its tongue, but I can open the air-conditioner or the fan. I can wear beautiful dresses and sandals. I can go swimming at a swimming pool. I can also eat ice cream, watermelon and peaches. The days are long in the summer, and I have more free time to play. The stars in the summer night are beautiful, too, it made me doesn’t want to go home.
I think another time, I like winter better. Winter is cold, but we can wear heavy coats, and there is central heating in the apartment. When it snows, it’s beautiful, the roads are white, the roofs are white, the trees are white, and the cars are white, too. It looks like it’s a world made of silver. I can make a snowman, have a snowball fight with my friends, and we also run in the snow. The happiest thing for me is: There’s Spring Festival in winter. It’s a very lively festival.
Actually, my favorite seasons are spring and fall. Spring is the season of flowers, the snow and ice melt, the trees had its leaf bud, the fields turn green, the swallows flew back, and there are flowers everywhere. Fall is the season of harvest, the corn ripe, the broomcorn ripe, and the rice ripe, it’s golden in the field. My favorite fruits like apples, pears, oranges, there are many of them in fall. There is also cool fall wind, and it feels very good.
Which season should I really like? Spring, summer, fall, winter, I like them all.
