This afternoon, my friends and I play in the yard. We sing and dance for a moment. This all started when Li Jiayue’s grandma come:
Li Jiayue’s grandma: Li Jiayue have to go to dance class tomorrow.
Hu Runxi: But couldn’t she just play another teeny minute?
Liu Xingyu: Wait, did you said go to dance class?
Li Jiayue’s grandma: Yup. It’s at 9 o’clock to 12 o’clock. What is the problem?
Me: She can dance for us.
Li Jiayue put her index finger between her lips and thought.
All the other ones: Dance, Li Jiayue. Dance!
Li Jiayue murmured, “OK.”
And then she started dancing, she danced well.
When she finished, everyone clapped.
“My turn! My turn!” I squeaked and jumped on the “stage”， I started singing the song <Twinkle Twinkle Little Star>.
“My turn,” said Liu Xingyu and she started to sing <Big, Big World>. Li Jiayue and Hu Runxi froze and hear her singing. But I’m keep dancing around her because I know this song and… I want to dance a little, too. That’s all.
Then is Hu Runxi’s turn. She sang a Chinese song.
After Hu Runxi sang, we talked.
Liu Xingyu: Did anyone hear the song of <Red River Valley>?
Hu Runxi and Li Jiayue: Nope.
Me: Me either. Wait a sec. Did you say <Red River Valley>?
Liu Xing Yu: Yup. Why did you ask this?
My heart started to pump with excitement. That’s the song I wanted to hear.
Me: I want to hear it. Please hum the tune! …
After the humming and talking break, our “show” went on and it was great.
We played in the moonlight and smile hang from our faces.
“Time to go home!” I heard my parents shout from home. And then, we said goodbye to each other and went back home.
