There is a teacher in our school who is tall and limp, her eyes are round and bright like marbles. She is our Class One, Grade 3 class teacher, her name is Miss Xu. Miss Xu teaches us three subjects: Chinese, Synthesize, and Quality.
Miss Xu speaks humorously. Once a student in our class named Yang Yifan. He won’t stay still for the whole class, when Miss Xu was writing on the blackboard, he turned back and drew a few lines on Chen Xiaoyu’s book. Miss Xu discovered it, she said, “Yang Yifan, you’re so naughty like a little monkey let me put you on a tree.” The class is filled with laughter, but Yang Yifan felt ashamed and turn his head down.
Miss Xu’s Chinese class are funny, too. Once she talked about “Space Life is So Much Fun!”。 The book said how the astronauts drink water and let us imagine how do they eat food in space. Miss Xu continued, “If they eat the way on Earth. But there’s no gravity in space so the foods float around. Left float a piece of bread, right float a piece of meat, front float a piece of lettuce, behind floats the other piece of bread.” She did actions, too. The class started to think. After a little while, I stood up and said, “They can eat food in ring-pull cans and in tubes.” Miss Xu said, “That’s right. Very good.”
After the final test of Grade 2, Miss Xu lined up the whole class points. She gave the top three students a pencil-case with pencils,sharpener, eraser, and ruler. Since I was the first, Miss Xu also gave me a lollipop. My classmates clapped their hands to congratulate us.
This time, the ninety percent of the class has got an A. All of my classmates like Miss Xu, but I like her more.
