One evening, Bunny was in bed and she heard Dad and Mom’s talk:
“After some days, we are going to take Bunny to her Grandma’s house,” said Dad.
“Yeah, we go there every year’s last Saturday,” said Mom.
“Her Grandma said that this year, Bunny’s Aunt Caroline’s coming, too. And Bunny…”
Before Dad can finish his sentence. Bunny was fast asleep.
Bunny dreamed when she was young, usually at the last Saturday of each year, Aunt Caroline has already gone traveling. When Aunt Caroline came back, she often tells Bunny about her trip. When Bunny was three months old, she hid in Aunt Caroline’s traveling bag. She wishes that Aunt Caroline would bring her, too. Aunt Caroline got her up and said, “You can go when you’re older.”
Every place where Aunt Caroline went, she will send a postcard to Bunny. Those postcards always let Bunny open her eyes. Thinking of traveling with Aunt Caroline in the future, a smile silently crept onto Bunny’s face.
After several days, Mom, Dad and Bunny brought Grandma’s present and go to Grandma’s house. Bunny had brought ten dollars, and she ran to Center Street to buy a present for Aunt Caroline.
Bunny went to Mr. Rooster’s shop first, but she didn’t find any presents which is perfect.
Bunny went to Ms. Peacock’s shop next, she wanted to buy a beautiful picture frame with flowers on it, but she doesn’t have enough money.
At last, Bunny finally bought a toy train at Mr. Ostrich’s shop.
Bunny gave the toy train to Aunt Caroline. And Aunt Caroline likes it very much. She put it near Grandma’s kitchen window, so everyone in the family can see it.
That night, Aunt Caroline gave Bunny a paper message, it was written: You’re older now, and you’re good for one trip with Aunt Caroline.
Bunny was very happy, because she was finally old enough to travel to those beautiful places on the postcard with Aunt Caroline.
