　　Today is my mother’s birthday.My father and I wanted to give her a pleasant surprise
　　In the morning, we went to the shop and bought a big cake. Then we went to market and bought some food that my mother liked best.After getting home ,we began to prepare for my mother’s birthday.Father went into the kitchen to prepare a big meal,I went into my room to make a birthday card.
　　My mother was seated at the table and I showed her my pres-ent.She looked at it and smiled. My mother looked at my father and me ; she was moved to tears.
