　　 Yungang Grottoes, the largest grotto group in China, is one of the world’s famous art treasures.

　　 Every year, it attracts tens of thousands of tourists to go there and helps the local people create an economic wonder.

　　 However, with the development of the industry going up to a higher standard，the grottoes are facing a serious problem of distinction. Most statues in the grotto are covered with thick ash and are eroded.

　　 So, should we just continue our dramatic industrial development and ignore the bad effect on the treasures?

　　 From my point of view, cultural heritages are as important as economy. When we say a country is big and strong, not only because its people are rich, but it has a long and awesome history. And it is cultural heritages that help us know the amazing history has ever existed in the world. Never should we make money at the sacrifice of our cultural heritages.

　　 So how should we help protect them? Lead an environmental-friendly life is the best way. Try our best to save water and electricity. Refuse to use disposed chopsticks.And recycle natural resources. As for the factories, the government should tighten control over their running.　If we can manage to do these, we will discharge less dioxide gas into the air. Acid rain will no longer exist and the grottoes will be saved.

　　 Let’s do something from now on to stop damaging our cultural heritage. Don’t say that your own strength is too small to change the world. Together, individuals can make a difference.
