Imagine yourself being lost in the woods after seeking for ‘treasure’ on a field trip. You saw a small little squirrel hopped into the woods, carrying a tremendous bunch of pine nuts. “It would be great to have fried nuts for snack this evening,” you thought. So off you go, following the squirrel gingerly into the woods, FAR FAR in. You were too busy noticing the squirrel’s trail, but won’t even bother to notice how far you have gone.
And now, you are trapped in layers of pine trees, with no one around, no food, no water, and no hope. You are facing loneliness, hunger and mostly, unpredictable danger. Sitting all by yourself, leaning against an old dead pane tree, you regretted for the decision you made.
“Damn it! I should have known it was a trap. I shouldn’t have left my spot at the very beginning! ” But it was too late. You could feel coldness invading you, dreadful thoughts haunting you. All you can hear is a terrible awkward silence. It is deep autumn, leaves dropped down all over you. A gust of wind blown away all the passion you had for life. No way. You tell yourself. There’s no way I’m getting out of here. Desperation took over your mind. All is calm, sad but true.
Suddenly you heard something beating inside you, “Pump, Pump.” All the blood in you ran warm, like a bowl of boiled water struggling to burst. The beating got louder and LOUDER AND LOUDER!!! You finally realized something: You have a life inside you willing to get out, willing to be set free! So up you go, standing with sore legs that could hardly support your legs. But you feel stronger than ever!
