The lost baby chick丢失的鸡宝宝

　　Baby Chick was sleeping next to his mommy. When a great wind came and blew him down from the henhouse.

　　鸡宝宝在妈妈身边睡觉，大风刮来了，把它吹出了鸡舍。

　　He chirped, “Peep peep, where is my mommy?” Baby Chick began wandering around and looking for his mommy.

　　它尖声叫：“叽叽，妈妈在哪儿？”鸡宝宝游转着寻找妈妈。

　　He came across a cactus and touched the cactus’ prickly thorns. “Who are you? What do you want?” the cactus asked him.

　　它从仙人掌旁边经过，摸了摸仙人掌的刺。

　　“你是谁？你想要什么？”仙人掌问小鸡。

　　“I am looking for my mommy. You’re not my mommy My mommy doesn’t prick like you.”

　　“我在寻找妈妈。你不是妈妈，妈妈并不像你那么扎人。”

　　Baby Chick kept wandering. He came across a big kettle and touched its spout. “Who are you? What do you want?” asked the kettle.

　　鸡宝宝继续寻找妈妈，它从大茶壶旁边经过，摸了摸壶嘴。

　　“你是谁？你想要什么？”茶壶问。

　　“I am looking for my mommy. You’re not my mommy. My mommy is not cold like you.”

　　“我在寻找妈妈，你不是妈妈，妈妈不像你那么冷淡。”

　　Just then, Baby Chick heard his mother calling for him.

　　后来，鸡宝宝听见妈妈喊自己。

　　The chick fell into his mother’s arms as she asked, “I’ve missed you so much my little baby!” “Mommy! Mommy! I missed you too!” he shouted with joy.

　　鸡宝宝扑进了妈妈的怀抱里，妈妈对鸡宝宝说：“我的孩子，我真想念你啊！”

　　“妈妈，妈妈！我也想念你！”鸡宝宝高兴地喊着。

　　With much comfort, the chick quickly fell asleep in his mother’s arms.

　　鸡宝宝觉得心情好多了，很快在妈妈的怀抱中睡着了。
