Gretchen Princess

　　  Long time ago, in a faraway land. There lived a princess named Gretchen. She was the most beautiful girl in the land. Gretchen had a long, gold curly hair. She had dark green eyes as like cat’s eyes that can see through everything. Her skin was subtle white, silken, and animate. She liked to sing, and to play the piano at sunny days. She was also very good at dancing. She was a good-hearted girl. She was very friendly to everyone. There were lots of handsome princes proposed to Gretchen, but she rejected all of them very politely.

　　　 She was obviously upset because her 21st birthday was coming soon. Her twin brother, Prince Reginald, would become king and she would have to marry King Jomen of Far Land. Jomen was a very cruel and unkind man. His eyes were sharp like knifes. Gretchen didn’t like him, so she made an excellent plan of running away from the palace. The plan required the help of her friends, Grumpy and Happy. They were eager to help, because they didn’t want their friend to be unhappy for the rest of her life. She dressed up as a maid and then fled the palace. Unfortunately, her brother saw her and thought she was being kidnapped. Reginald Prince set out to rescue her.

　　　　Gretchen escaped from the palace and she cried and ran until she reached Near Land. She missed her family very much. She wanted to go back, but she really didn’t want to marry King Jomen. She was very sad and desperate. She thought about suicide, because she thought there was no point of being alive anymore. She lived in her own tears every day. Her life had lost its passion and meaning. Her brother found her when she gave up everything, waiting for death to come.

　　  “I thought you were being kidnapped! I was looking for you everywhere! Why are you dressing up as a maid? You know what? I didn’t sleep tight for this whole time, because I have been thinking about you and I was fear of the fact that you might be already dead!” Reginald looked at her affectionately.

“I ran away from the palace, because I didn’t want to marry King Jomen! I don’t like him! I had no choice, but escaped.” She cried.

　　  “Don’t worried, my lovely kitten,” He comforted, “I promise when I become the king, I won’t make you to marry anybody that you don’t like. OK??” He stroked her head.

She nodded and smiled. They went home together happily.
