　　Last evening, when it’s 9 o’clock, I sat by the computer to talk with Teacher Philip, we used the Net.
　　Teacher Philip is 28 years old. He is Canadian. His questions are interesting, and that’s a big help for me. I like him very much. We talked for five minutes.
　　Me: Hello. Can you hear me?
　　Philip: Yes, I can. How are you?
　　Me: I’m fine, and you?
　　Philip: I’m fine, thanks for asking. So, Jenny, we have four topics tonight, which one do you want to answer first?
　　Me: Your best day in life and why.
　　Philip: Ah, Can you tell me?
　　Me: It’s this birthday.
　　Philip: When’s your birthday?
　　Me: December 31st, but it haven’t arrived yet.
　　Philip: Oh, three more days, right?
　　Me: Right.
　　Philip: Why is your birthday? Oh, and happy birthday by the way, sweetie.
　　Me: Because we’re going to celebrate for New Year at school on my birthday.
　　Philip: How will you celebrate your birthday in school? What will you do?
　　Me: I don’t know. Our teacher just said so.
　　Philip: Oh. There you go. And will you like to have a cake on your birthday?
　　Me: Yeah. I love cakes. And I hope there aren’t any bad things happen on my birthday. I don’t want them to spoil my happiness.
　　I JUST THINK IT MIGHT BE A LUCKY DAY FOR ME.
　　Philip: Yes, of course. Just be careful to not have a spoiler in your party. Just be careful, OK?
　　Me: OK.
　　Philip: And again sweetie. Happy birthday!

　　Philip: So, Jenny. What’s your favorite place in China?
　　Me: My favorite place in China is… Um, in the yard, when it’s Friday afternoon.
　　Philip: Uh-hum? Why there? Uh, what’s the name of the place again?
　　Me: It’s in the yard, when it’s Friday afternoon.
　　Philip: Can you tell me something about that place?
　　Me: My friends and I play together in the yard when it’s Friday afternoon.
　　Philip: Oh. What games do you like best, Jenny?
　　Me: Pardon?
　　Philip: What games do you like best?
　　Me: We play different games, and they are all interesting.
　　Philip: Do you play sports? What’s your favorite sport?
　　Me: Yes, I do. My favorite sport is swimming. But I can’t swim.
　　Philip: Uh, but. How can you, um…
　　Me: I just thought swimming might be fun.
　　Philip: Oh, you can have a swim teacher.
　　BUT PHILIP HAD’T FINISHED HIS WORDS YET
　　Me: Yeah.
　　PHILIP GOES ON
　　Philip: And that teacher can teach you how to swim, swimming is really easy, you know. Right?
　　Me: Right.
　　WE HAVE TALKED FOR FIVE MINUTES. IT’S OTHERS TURN NOW.
