　　Nowadays the water shortage has been a serious problem,but most of us didn't realize it.People can live without water.Without it,the world will be a dead one,there will be no animals,no trees,even no people,and so on. It's so terrible.So many people believe that water is the second oxygen in the world.
　　I think the main reason for the shortage of water resources is pollution. Although three quarters of the earth's surface is covered with water,but it can't stand huge pollution.The Chemical Plant produces plenty of polluted water,it is the main reason.And another reason is human's rapid growth of water supply. The Agriculture and industry needs more water than before. So the growing water supply is another serious problem,too.
　　What makes us happy is that people have realized this serious problem and tried to find ways to solve it. First of all,each of us should save water.Second,measures should be taken to protect water resources.Third,industry water emission should be limitted strictly.In a word , saving and protecting water is our duty.
