Two fishermen sitting on a bridge, with their lines in the water, made a bet as to who would catch the first fish. One of them got a bite on his line and got so excited that he fell off the bridge.
　　“Oh, well,” said the other, “if you’re going to dive1 for them, the bet’s off2 !”
